Each of these gives something back. Free at any scale gives back the room. Nothing pretending to be a person gives back the place a person should hold. No data outside Switzerland gives back what is yours. Nothing engineered to bring you back gives back your attention, which is the whole of what you have to give someone.

Everything else here is unfinished and belongs to the people who sit.

• No paywall on human connection. The Circle is free now and free at any scale.
• No pretending to be a person. No persona, no romance, no claimed inner life, no exclusive attachment.
• No feed, no social layer, no streaks, no badges. Nothing engineered to bring you back.
• No engagement targets. kalya does not measure time in app and does not want it to rise.
• No third party trackers. None.
• No sign in with anyone else’s account.
• No user data outside Switzerland. Everything kalya holds is on kalya’s machines in Geneva. Until kalya’s own room is proven, the Circles run on a third party video platform, which holds its own attendance record. kalya takes no copy of it, and that platform goes when the room is ready.
• No user data used to train models. Not kalya’s, not anyone’s.
• No advertising, and no advertisers. There is no version of this where you are the product.
• No paying for presence. Nobody is charged to be with other people, and nobody is paid to be there.
• No manufactured urgency. No limited spots, no closing applications, no founding cohorts. Nobody has to hurry.
• No discouraging real contact. Routes to real human help are built into the foundation, not added after.
• No fabricated numbers. Every count on this site is real. If eleven people sat, it says eleven.
• kalya publishes what fails. Where people used kalya more and felt worse. Where someone was sent toward help and it did not land. Where something worked for a reason nobody wanted to be true.

If kalya ever breaks one of these, it should be the easiest thing in the world to prove.
